Napikoski also worked on human rights and women's rights issues with many non-profit organizations, including AIDS Action, Amnesty International, and Women's Action for New Directions. In her writing, she has examined women's literature, feminism, and the legal issues surrounding gender in academic settings and through "real world" activism. Her work in newspaper and radio journalism, covering the topics of government, business, and travel spans more than eight years. As an undergraduate at the University of Southern California, Napikoski studied everything from feminist poetry to wedding traditions in world religions. During law school, she participated in the Gender, Law & Policy Colloquium and worked as a research assistant to a professor who wrote innovative articles about the intersection of law, race, class, and gender. Education Napikoski earned a Juris Doctor (J.D.) with a concentration in International Law from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University in 2009. She also holds a Bachelor Arts (B.A.) degree with a focus on English and Print Journalism from the University of Southern California.
